Impact Stories

Sushit Gyaba –
Transformation through education

Sushit Gyaba, the youngest son of Sukra and Sita Gyaba, has faced numerous challenges but possesses big dreams. His father works abroad, while his mother manages household duties and a job. Initially struggling academically and lacking confidence, Sushit joined GEC’s after-school program, which provided a supportive environment where he received guidance and encouragement. This support enabled him to excel in his studies and pass his annual examinations successfully. Beyond academics, the program nurtured his passions for art and football and helped him build lasting friendships. Sushit’s experience exemplifies how the Godawari Community’s after-school program transforms lives by offering mentorship and opportunities for children in difficult backgrounds, helping them aspire and succeed.
