Bringing Dreams within reach through education
Our Thapathali Education Centre, in the heart of Kathmandu, was established in 2009. It provides regular classes throughout the week and a range of extracurricular activities. These help the children and their families to learn new skills, improving their lives generally.
Holistic approach
We believe in a holistic approach. Trips to places like Godavari Botanical Garden help children develop and gain confidence. As well as learning about the wider world, they also learn new skills such as cooking.
Creating community spirit
Sharing meals helps children develop a sense of community spirit. It helps to build bonds between the children. It is also an important part of improving their health as the children are all from the slum area of Kathmandu.
A bright future for boys
Our Godavari Education Centre opened in 2014. Orphan Outreach, one of our sponsors, supports the centre’s work. It is located in a slum area of Godawari, about 10km from Kathmandu.
Creating smiles
Given the presence of various ethnic groups, fostering community unity and a feeling of togetherness is essential. The joy reflected in these smiling faces serves as a testament to our hard work.
